Professor Alain Marchal

It is with great sadness that we learned on Sunday 4th August of the death following complications from an illness of Alain Marchal, Director of Research 'classe exceptionelle' and former director of the Laboratoire Parole et Langage, Aix-en-Provence. Alain Marchal was a dear friend of the IPS and we will greatly miss his enthusiasm, professionalism and expertise which have done so much to foster research between our laboratories and throughout Europe. Our thoughts are with his wife and family at this time.
